Contact support
Send your question, suggestion or complaint to [email protected].
Tell us what happened and, if you can, the app version (shown under "About").
Was your code not recognized?
- Keep the email with the code visible on screen and GrabMyOTP open.
- In the GrabMyOTP window, click "My code was not recognized" and choose the email line that contains the code.
- Check the text: numbers become 9 and email addresses and links are hidden. You can edit whatever you like.
- Confirm that you reviewed it, click "Copy report" and paste it into an email to support.
With that format, we will add your type of code in a future version.
Frequently asked questions
The traffic light on the panel is yellow. What should I do?
Yellow means the email is not being read. It is almost always because the email window is minimized, completely covered by other windows or has another tab in front. Leave at least part of the window visible and the email tab active: the traffic light goes back to green.
What about the red traffic light?
No email window was chosen, or it was closed. Open GrabMyOTP and select your email window under "Use".
The code arrived, but the app did not copy it.
Check whether the traffic light was green when the email arrived. If it was, the code format is not recognized yet: use "My code was not recognized" (instructions above) to send us the format.
Can the app copy an old code?
No. The app only copies codes that appear after it started watching the window, that are from today and are not older than the last one received. Old codes that show up when you scroll the list appear in the list, but are not copied.
Does it work with codes sent by SMS?
No. GrabMyOTP only reads emails open in your computer's browser.
My webmail does not show up with a recognized name.
Even without a recognized name, you can select the window under "Use". If the code is not detected, send us the format through the report.
Can I have the app open on its own with Windows?
Yes. Check "Start with Windows" at the bottom of the app window. It opens with just the panel and the icon in the system tray.
How do I close the app?
Closing the main window shuts down the whole app, panel included. To keep monitoring with just the panel, minimize the window instead of closing it.
How do I uninstall it?
Through Windows Settings, under Apps, or by right-clicking GrabMyOTP in the Start menu. None of your data stays with us.
